Hot Bolus Massage

Pinda Sveda, (also referred to as Bolus), is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves applying heat and medicated herbal poultices to the body. The term "Pinda" refers to a bolus or bundle, and "Sveda" means to sweat.

During a Pinda Sveda treatment, a combination of various medicinal herbs, powders, and other therapeutic substances are tied in a cloth or poultice. This poultice is then heated via a steamer or by dipping it into warm medicated oils. The heated poultices are then gently massaged or pressed onto specific areas of the body depending on the individual's needs and the condition being treated.

The therapeutic warmth and the herbal properties of the poultices are believed to help open up the channels of the body, stimulate blood circulation, relax the muscles, reduce pain and inflammation, promote detoxification, and restore balance. Pinda Sveda is commonly used to alleviate musculoskeletal conditions such as joint pain, arthritis, muscle spasms, back pain and stiffness.
