My Purpose
At Satya Recovery & Ayurveda, my mission is to support you on your journey towards a healthy, lifestyle free of addiction. I recognise that addiction is a complex condition that requires a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach, and I believe that Ayurvedic principles can play a powerful role in addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of addiction. I combine traditional Ayurvedic therapies, such as detoxification massage, the use of herbal remedies along with lifestyle changes, including dietary advice, yoga & mindfulness meditation. My goal is to help you be free of your addiction, be it alcohol, drugs, food, money, technology or people from your life, whilst also addressing the root causes of your current pattern of behaviour. My aim is to assist you to develop tools and strategies for long-term recovery. With a focus on compassion, respect, and individualised care, I am committed to helping you achieve lasting sobriety, improved health and well-being, along with a renewed sense of purpose and fulfilment in your life.

About Terry
I am a dedicated recovery coach, Ayurvedic practitioner & massage therapist who specialises in helping individuals escape from the clutches of addiction. With a wealth of experience in the field, I have developed a unique and holistic perspective on addiction recovery that combines the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with modern techniques and practices.
My own journey towards becoming a recovery coach, Ayurvedic practitioner & massage therapist began when I overcame my own personal struggles with alcohol. Inspired by the transformative power of Yoga & Ayurveda, I pursued training and education in these holistic healing systems in India, USA and the UK. I now use this expertise to help others struggling with addictions, be it alcohol, drugs, food, people, technology or money.
I came into this field after spending many years working in highly demanding corporate roles within the travel industry and as a partner in a real estate company. I climbed the corporate ladder like so many of us do and at times felt burnt out, stressed and ultimately not satisfied with what I was doing professionally.
In addition to my recovery coaching, I also offer in person Ayurvedic consultations and therapies, including Ayurvedic massage, Shirodhara (warm oil dripping onto your forehead) & Udvartanum (dry powder) massage for those who are curious as to how this timeless system of health can impact your everyday life. You do not need to have an active addiction to experience this magical way of healing.
I work closely with each of my clients to develop personalised strategies and techniques to help you through your challenges and to successfully manage your addiction. I take a compassionate and supportive approach, guiding you along the path of recovery and empowering you to take control of your life.
My Ayurvedic approach to recovery focuses on balancing the mind, body, and spirit, using massage, natural remedies, dietary changes, and mindfulness practices. These methods are grounded in science and have been shown to be effective in reducing cravings and improving overall health and wellbeing.
In addition to my work as a recovery coach, I am also a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner, massage therapist & yoga teacher. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others, and am committed to helping as many people as possible find their path to recovery and wellness.
